Senior ISO Management Consultant

AvISO is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic ISO Consultant to assist clients with designing, implementing, and maintaining ISO Management Systems, including Quality (ISO 9001), Health & Safety (ISO 45001), Environmental (ISO 14001) and Information Security (ISO 27001). Experience in one or more of these standards is essential.  

The Consultant will join a small, innovative, energetic team working with a diverse range of organizations, supporting them in implementing and improving various management systems.

The AvISO team operates from two fantastic locations. The head office is at Flimwell Park in East Sussex, a brand new, sustainably built development with a second base in Central London.

Responsibilities

As an ISO Consultant, your role will require self-management and motivation, working with your own portfolio of clients. An average day will involve working directly with clients on various projects.

The relationship you build with your clients will be instrumental in building their confidence in AvISO and our advice.

The Role

• You will assist clients with drafting policies & procedures
• Collation of records & data required by the International Standards
• Ensure smooth project delivery
• Identify the legal, statutory, regulatory & contractual requirements applicable to the client
• Identify risks & opportunities that are relevant to the client

About You

• Must be Lead auditor in at least one of the following Standards: ISO 9001,  ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 or ISO 50001.
• Hands-on experience of implementation of ISO Standards, i.e. ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 or 27001
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent report writing skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Involved in the design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of a multisite IMS.
• Excellent planning and organization skills to meet deadlines with proven ability to deliver on time, on budget projects.
• A strong teamwork ethic
• Full driving licence with access to your own car as the role does involve travel to client sites.

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Management Consultancy. You will gain invaluable experience working within a small and supportive team, taking on increasing levels of responsibility working closely with our clients, assisting in achieving ISO certifications and optimising their management systems.

The Role

• Working with a team of Management Consultants assisting our clients with implementing and improving management systems, including Quality, Environmental, Information Security and Health & Safety.
• Draft policies and procedures, ensuring they align with international standards and meet clients’ needs.
• Collect and organise records and data required by the relevant International Standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Provide general administrative support to the team, including preparing audit reports, booking client meetings, and managing diaries.
• Participate in on-site visits to clients’ premises to gain practical experience.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, engineering, or a relevant related field.

Apprentice – starting in September 2024

An exciting opportunity has arisen at AvISO Consultancy for an Apprentice through Cranfield University.

We are an award-winning, industry-leading ISO Consultancy, Software and Training Provider. Founded in 2012, AvISO offers support to national and international clients with ISO standards, Management Systems, Compliance and Risk Management.

We are looking for an apprentice to join our team, with a focus on information security and cyber security. This will be for a September 2024 start date, and the apprenticeship will be level 6 through Cranfield University.

The apprentice will be trained to become a management consultant, learning to assist clients with designing, implementing, and maintaining ISO management systems. The applicant should be proactive and self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail.

Apprenticeship Summary

You will be partnered with an experienced consultant whom you will shadow and support, working with them across a diverse range of organizations and implementing and improving various management systems, including quality and information security.
