Consultant Comment

Bray Leino set AvISO the ambitious challenge of achieving certification to three sperate Standards (ISO 9001, ISO 20121 and ISO 14001) in three months. We needed to maintain the integrity of the individual certification within a fully integrated Management System.

Other considerations for this project included:

  • Identifying and signposting to processes and controls already in place
  • Developing a Management System that would fit with the culture and style of Bray Leino
  • Support the sharing of knowledge and best practice

Furthermore, our approach to the project needed to fit within the ethos of the three standards Quality, Sustainability and Environment. This was achieved by carrying out much of the project remotely, maximising the capability of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to achieve this. The use of the AvISO Microsoft Teams Management System (MTMS) meant that Bray Leino was very well placed for remote auditing, which becomes essential during the project. The MTMS platform ensured that processes, procedures and records could be easily accessed and that the auditors were confident that not just the letter of the Standards has been met but the spirit of them as well.

A Management System must be reflective of the business processes and not based on a templates and generic documentation.
